There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man. ~ Winston Churchill

Western Montana Equine Rescue & Rehabilitation, Inc. was formed in September of 2008, and granted 501c3 non-profit status January 9, 2009. We take a "hands on" approach, taking equines into our personal care, rehabilitating them physically/mentally and emotionally, as well as veterinary requirements/dental/farrier and training. We do this to give them hope for a second chance at a good life. We also try and help people in need of temporary assistance to keep their horses, providing education, hay grant alternatives, farrier, supplemental feed, and access to euthanasia grants if appropriate. We are here for the unwanted.
